Timothy C. Birdsall, ND, is Vice President, Integrative Medicine for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) and is a member of the Department of Naturopathic Medicine at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, the flagship hospital for CTCA. Dr. Birdsall graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle in 1985, where he served on the faculty for five years. He was the founding editor-in-chief of Alternative Medicine Review, the first peer-reviewed medical journal edited by naturopathic physicians to be indexed on MEDLINE. In 2000, Dr. Birdsall was the recipient of the President’s Award of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He is the co-author of the book How To Prevent and Treat Cancer With Natural Medicine (Riverhead Books, 2002).
