Richard Steinberg, MD
Richard Steinberg, MD, is a physician who combines both traditional and alternative medicine in his practice. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also a licensed Medical Acupuncturist, certified yoga instructor and has a dedicated meditation practice. Since Dr. Steinberg’s diagnosis of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1996, he has investigated and participated in many conventional and complementary forms of healing. Dr. Steinberg serves as a consultant at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine for patients seeking information about complementary cancer therapies. His primary focus is working with people with cancer both individually and in groups to co-navigate the journey of making treatment decisions, utilizing complementary medicine and addressing psychological and spiritual issues. He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado where he also teaches at the Seven Bowls School of Nutrition Nourishment and Healing.
