Lynda Richtsmeier Cyr, PhD, LP

Lynda Richtsmeier Cyr, PhD, LPLynda Richtsmeier Cyr, PhD, LP, is a Pediatric Psychologist in the Integrative Medicine Program at Children’s Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota. Lynda incorporates mind-body medicine into her holistic psychotherapy practice and works with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with chronic illness, chronic pain, anxiety, depression and other stress-related disorders. Lynda has been leading mind-body skills groups for children, teens and parents for over 10 years, and has completed certification in CMBM’s Professional Training Program. Lynda has taught nationally in the area of pediatric self-regulation, biofeedback, Integrative Medicine, and Holistic Mental Health. Lynda holds a leadership position in the Integrative Medicine Program at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and helps guide and develop the clinical, educational, research and operational aspects of this program. Lynda is also a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics for the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and serves as core faculty for the Behavioral Pediatrics Program. Lynda has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received specialized Post-doctoral training in the area of Pediatric Psychology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Lynda has also completed advanced training in biofeedback and hypnosis.
