Kris O’Shee, MFA, MA

Kris O'Shee, MFA, MAKris O’Shee is a psychotherapist, massage therapist, and yoga teacher. She is also a modem dancer, and for 35 years taught and choreographed in London and the U.S. In 1992, inspired by Dr. James Gordon’s holistic approach to health and healing, she became involved in The Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s groundbreaking programs. She assisted in establishing a school program for the Center which focused on helping at risk teenagers and creating a holistic environment for teachers, staff, and students. In 1999 she traveled to Macedonia with the Center’s “Healing the Wounds of War” program, facilitating mind-body skills groups with Kosovar refugees and leading dance and creative movement activities for Kosovar children. After 9/11 she again joined the Center’s team to work with New York firefighters and their families. Her private practice integrates body-based psychotherapy, mind-body skills, depth psychology, movement, and touch.
