Ferid Agani, MD, MA, PhD candidate, Neuropsychiatrists, born in 1959 in Prishtina, Kosova. Lecturer of Psychodynamics and Assistant professor of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Prishtina. Member of the Parliament of Kosova. Author of the Strategic Plan for Mental Health Reform in Kosova and Chairmen of the National Mental Health Council. Former Director of the Department for Strategic Management at the Ministry of Health of Kosova and WHO mental health consultant. Member of the American Family Therapy Academy, European Psychiatric Association and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Co-director of the international project: “Kosovar Family Professional Educational Collaborative” developed by University of Prishtina, American Family Therapy Academy and a group of American university institutions and co-founder of the Mind & Body self-awareness rising project in Kosova in collaboration with The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Washington DC and the nongovernmental professional association, Institute for Mental Health Recovery of Kosova (co-founder).
