Colleen Fogarty Draper, MS RD

Colleen Fogarty Draper, MS RDColleen Fogarty Draper, MS RD, is a registered dietitian with a Food and Nutrition Science degrees from Tufts University and Florida State University; and training at the New England Medical Center, Frances Stern Nutrition Institute, and Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging.

Colleen has extensive product development, clinical research, business consulting, and nutrition practice experience. She has spent the last 6 years in a highly unique position in the biotechnology industry focused on the development of genetic tests for human gene variations associated with risk that can be modified by nutrients and bioactives. As Program Director of Nutrigenomics at Interleukin Genetics, her responsibilities ranged from clinical research management to program leadership and planning/forecasting, test design and translating the science into written technical communications. Colleen recently founded the Nugenso Company; focused on providing nutritional genomics solutions for industry, practitioners, and individuals interested in the translation and integration of the science into product portfolio planning, design; and clinical practice.

Colleen is a member of the Functional Medicine Nutritionist Advisory Board for the Institute of Functional Medicine; a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Nutrition in Complementary Care Practice Group.

Colleen frequently lectures and writes about the integration and translation of nutritional genomics into practice.

Colleen lives in the Boston area, and enjoys snow skiing, yoga, and raising her 3 young daughters. She has a strong, personal interest in the genetic and environmental origins of pediatric food allergies, and gluten intolerance.
