Amy Shinal, LCSW

Amy Shinal, LCSW, is an Integrative Psychotherapist and Consultant, utilizing Mind-Body skills and other integrative approaches with individuals, groups and organizations. She has pursued post-graduate training in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, guided imagery, and several other healing modalities; and incorporates imagery, breathwork, meditation, and energy medicine into her work. Amy presents experiential Mind-Body workshops in the community and for organizations, in addition to her work with individuals and small groups in private practice.

Amy is the Clinical Director at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine where she consults on program development and implementation for the Center’s professional training programs and supervises Medical and Mental Health professionals as they integrate Mind-Body Medicine into their personal and professional lives. She is a Senior Faculty member for Center programs including Mind-Body Medicine, CancerGuides® and Global Trauma Relief, and is the Clinical Supervisor for the Center’s trauma relief work in Israel and the Palestinian territories. Amy facilitates regular mind-body skills groups and supervises the training of healthcare professionals in the US, Israel and Gaza, who are interested in deepening their skills.
