About our Donors

We support thousands who are healing millions. In turn, we need support too. Our support comes from individual donations and foundation grants, as well as from fee–for–service programs.

We have long-standing major donors who have each contributed hundreds and thousands of dollars over the years. They are men and women who share our vision of effective and responsive integrative care for all. Our major donors include Don de Laski, Penny and Bill George, HB Wallace, Maurice Kanbar, Lyn Rales, Christy Mack, Judith L. Chiara, Elise Frick and Julia Oswald. We could not do what we are doing without them.

Corporations also support our work. Standard Process, Inc., the highly–regarded whole foods supplement company, and Spectrum Organic Products, Inc., purveyors of high–quality oils and essential fatty acid (EFA) supplements have given generously as has MedStar Health, a $2.7 billion non–profit healthcare organization.

Individual programs may be funded with targeted donations. For example, our Food As Medicine professional training program has been significantly funded over the last five years by grants from the Wallace Research Foundation.

In June of 2005, The Atlantic Philanthropies awarded us a matching grant totaling $2.23 million to fund our Healing the Wounds of War program with Israelis and Palestinians.
