Mind-Body Medicine Success!
Sarah used mind-body skills with individuals to positive effect, including breathing, relaxation, imagery, and movement, while simultaneously taking care of their immediate medication needs. She also believes professional training in mind-body medicine allowed her to be a more effective and encouraging leader for fellow volunteer clinicians. “The Center’s Mind-Body Medicine Professional Training made a huge difference in my ability to be present in the immediate moment to the evacuees and their challenges. I was able to respond to patients in a new and more human context because of the training and personal practice of the skills.” Sarah Flick, MD
