Hotel

All lectures, panel discussions and small groups will take place at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego, California.

In addition to staying at a wonderful hotel with views of Pacific Ocean at our great conference rate, booking your hotel room at the San Diego Hyatt Mission Bay allows the Center to offer affordable tuition. Participants have a discounted rate of $160 plus tax per night guaranteed until January 8th, 2010, on a space available basis. We recommend reserving your room as soon as possible. Hotel reservations can be made online by clicking here, or by calling (800) 233-1234 and requesting the Center for Mind-Body Medicine rate of $160 plus tax per night.

Click here for a map showing the location of the hotel and directions.

Note: Please help us keep the tuition as low as possible for you and your colleagues! The more hotel rooms we book with our group, the more likely we are to avoid HIGH meeting room rental fees - which otherwise would force us to increase future tuition. Besides the convenience of the training being onsite and the hotel’s location to the city, please consider this when arranging your travel!

Roomates & Rideshare

Are you the only person in your car with 3 or more empty seats? If you have even one seat in your car, please travel green and share the ride! Flying in? Share taxis.

On a budget? Make friends and save money: find a hotel roommate.

Connect, share and conserve!

Transportation

Parking: Parking rate us $29 for self-parking and $25 for valet parking.

Flying: When booking your flight, we recommend that you arrive on Friday January 29th (the training starts early the next morning) and depart Wednesday evening after 6 pm or Thursday February 4th (the training ends 6:00 pm on Wednesday and is followed by a gathering with tea and cake). The hotel is located approximately five miles, or 15 minutes from San Diego International - Lindbergh Field Airport (SAN) airport. The Cloud 9 Shuttle runs 24 hours daily. Fare is approximately $12.00 USD per person / per way. Visit http://www.cloud9shuttle.com/ or call 800-974-8885 for reservations. Taxi fare is approximately $24 from the airport

AMTRAK is located approximately six miles or 15 minutes away. A taxi costs approximately $12 to $15

San Diego Transit is the local transit system. It costs approximately $2.25, and is located one block away from our San Diego California airport hotel.

San Diego Trolley picks up passengers at Old Town, for a cost of approximately $2 to $3 for transport to downtown San Diego.

Attire

Please feel free to dress casually for the program. If you are susceptible to getting cold, consider dressing in layers. It’s notoriously difficult to maintain the perfect comfort level for everyone in large conference halls, and try though we might, some people freeze while others sweat.
