Lunches at CancerGuides® II

Our delicious, gourmet lunches are designed by renowned chef Rebecca Katz, MS, the author of One Bite at a Time: Nourishing Recipes for Cancer Survivors and Their Friends and the soon-to-be released Cancer Fighting Kitchen. Chef Katz will be teaching a breakout session on cooking for people with cancer during the training.

Meals are buffet, to encourage participants to sample to their hearts’ content. There will be vegan and gluten-free options at every meal; participants with other severe dietary restrictions are asked to indicate so on their registration form. The Center will contact you if we are unable to accommodate your needs.

This June, at what we are calling our ‘Gemini’ training, participants of both CancerGuides® II and Food As Medicine will have lunch together, increasing opportunities for networking with other health professionals and faculty from both programs, who will be available for round-table discussions.
