What are Mind-Body Skills Groups?

A powerful, effective combination of research-based healing therapies to help you deal with life changes, stress, and illness in an intimate and supportive group setting. These classes are the living model of what the Center teaches in our mind-body medicine training programs.

Led by experienced facilitators, you will explore and practice:

  • Breathing
  • Meditation
  • Movement
  • Journaling
  • Drawing
  • Guided Imagery
  • Biofeedback and other self-care and self-awareness techniques

Group facilitators are health and mental health professionals who have completed the Center’s Mind-Body Medicine Professional Training and Certification Program.

Participants notice a decrease in depression and anxiety, and a heightened sense of well-being and engagement in life; acquire better coping skills; experience less pain, less fatigue, and more energy—making it easier to handle stress and illness.

Groups meet once a week for 12 weeks, with each session lasting for 2 hours. Both evening and day groups are continually being formed.

Transform your life.

Please contact the Center if you are interested in joining these classes.
