Donors Circle
With your help, we can truly heal the world.
CMBM is changing something very fundamental. We are changing whole systems of health and
healthcare. Not only do we do exemplary work with clinicians and educators in these systems, we are also working to create
exemplary health cultures — systems of health care that respect and honor
all people, including underserved populations.
We work tirelessly, where there is terror, war and tragedy and wherever
a healthcare system asks for help at home or abroad. We need your support to continue and enlarge what we are doing to make our ground-breaking approach available to those who need it most. There are many ways that you can
support our work.
- Will your employer match your gift?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company has a matching gift policy, if so, your donation could double in value! Please let us know. We will be happy to forward documentation of your support to your employer.
- Make a Memorial Donation
You can create a living memorial in the name of a family member or friend. Your tax-deductible donation will show the family of the deceased that you care about their loved one while helping The Center for Mind-Body Medicine realize its goal of bringing self-care and Mind-Body Medicine into the heart of our health system. We'll send a personalized email or mail a card personalized with your message to the person you designate to notify of your donation (the amount of the gift will not be indicated).
- Stocks and Mutual Funds
Stock or mutual funds gifts are particularly attractive if they have increased in value since the beginning of this calendar year - you will receive a charitable deduction for the value of the shares, and you will not have to pay any capital gains tax on the increased value of the donated shares.
- Planned Giving
There are several ways to include The Center for Mind-Body Medicine in your estate plans:
- Bequests: You can make a provision in your will naming The Center for Mind-Body Medicine as a recipient of your estate. The bequest could be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage or fraction of your estate, or may take the form of a trust. The taxable amount of your estate is reduced by the value of a charitable bequest.
- Retirement Funds: You can name The Center for Mind-Body Medicine as a beneficiary of all or part of an IRA or qualified retirement plan and receive both estate and income tax savings. The gift funds are not taxed and CMBM, as a non-profit organization, will not pay income tax.
- Life Income Agreements: These giving vehicles, which could include charitable trusts or pooled income funds, enable you to shelter assets that pay income for life to you or anyone you name, with future benefit to The Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
Every dollar you give us, supports thousands who heal millions. Won't you help? We can't do this without you. Please click here for our online donation form or contact Namrata Mehta,
